Ровный бит, скрипки, космическое звучание – одна из самых красивых композиций
группы, вместе с которой можно улететь далеко-далеко. Особенно выделяется
оригинальный микс этого трека, который длиннее почти вдвое версии на альбоме.
Эта версия начинается немного жестче, в ней больше acid звука, а также очень
интересное миксованное окончание. Отличный ремикс у Jonny L, он совершенно
изменил звучание заглавной композиции, ремикс получился более клубным и в тоже
время с глубоким trance саундом.

Помните, как было несколько лет назад?
Помните тот рэйв с пульсирующим басом, громкостью на полную, напористой
атмосферой? Тогда люди были дружные и свободные!
Но потом полиция вмешалась в дело, и правительство внесло свою лепту: "Сделайте
музыку тише, звуковое загрязнение". Это же полная чушь.
Если вы были на последних рэйв-вечеринках, то поймёте, чего это стоит. Что такое?
Вы платите 15-25 фунтов стерлингов. Стоите в очереди по 45 минут, после чего
приходится терпеть осмотр с ног до головы, как будто вы какой-то серийный убийца.
И после того, как вас обыскали с просьбами снять свою обувь и носки, вы заходите
внутрь и встречаете тысячи полицейских и музыку, играющую на 2 D.B. Может быть
стоит купить плеер после этого?
На каждой большой рэйв-вечеринке в последнее время появляется департамент
здоровья и окружающей среды со своими маленькими игрушками, называющимися
D.B.-измерителями. Они проверяют, чтобы громкость не превышала определённый
уровень. Например, если вы ездили 13.08.93 в Universe, 14.08.93 в Resurrection
или 6.08.93 в Living Dream, то вы поймёте, что мы имеем ввиду.
Всё что мы можем сделать - это извиниться перед вами за очень плохое качество
звука. Но что мы можем поделать? Мы не можем винить промоутеров, потому что они
делают замечательную работу по предоставлению лучших музыкальных систем (хотя у
вас и нет шанса услышать их во всей красе), великолепного освещения, Ди-джеев.
Их нельзя винить. Если бы они всё же попытались увеличить громкость, то у
властей было бы два метода заставить их уменьшить её обратно: 1) они могут
забрать лицензию и прекратить мероприятие, а также запретить все будущие
мероприятия провинившейся организации; 2) наложить штраф в размере такой мелочи
как £25.000 (иронизирует, т.к. это по тем временам большие деньги - прим. ред.)
и отказать во всех последующих лицензиях.
Сейчас вы знаете, почему всё тяжелее и тяжелее заставить себя пойти на такое
мероприятие, и почему они такие тихие, когда вы туда всё же идёте.
Поэтому больше некого винить, кроме как правительство. Власти на мыло! Вы не
сможете нас остановить! Мы удержим танцевальную сцену силой, даже если сам мир
ослабеет! Это наш день и никто не может забрать его у нас!
Танцевальная сцена ещё очень большая, чтобы просто исчезнуть.

Remember a few years ago?
Remember the raves with the pumping bass, the volume at it’s best, the atmosphere kicking, the people friendly and free!
But then the police had to put their oar in, the government then have their say, ‘Turn down the music, noise pollution’. What a load of bollock’s.
If you’ve been to the latest raves then you’ll know the score. What’s going on? You pay between 15-25 quid. Queue up for about 45 minutes whilst having to put up with the old bill eyeing you up and down as if you’re some sort of mass murderer. And once you’ve been searched and had your shoes and socks removed, you then walk into the grounds to be met by thousands of police and the music at about 2 D.B.’s, you might as well have bought your walkman.
At every large rave lately the department of health and environment are there with their precious little toys called D.B. meters making sure the volume doesn’t go above a certain level. For example, if you went to Universe on 13/08/93, Resurrection on 14/08/93 or Living Dream 6/08/93 then you’ll know what we mean.
All we can do is apologise to you all for the very bad sound quality, but what can we do? You can’t blame the promoters because they are doing an excellent job of bringing you the best quality sound system (even though you don’t get to hear it at it’s best), excellent lighting, Dj’s you can’t fault them. If they did try to turn up the volume then the authorities have two methods of getting them to turn it down – 1, they can revoke the licence and close down the party and then ban any further events by the offending organisation. 2, impose ridiculous fines which could be in excess of £25,000 and revoke any future licences.
Now you know why these events are becoming more and more of an effort to go to, and why they’re so quiet when you do.
So there’s no one left to blame but the authorities. Bollocks to the authorities, you can’t stop us, we’re gonna keep the dance scene strong even if the world isn’t. This is your day and no one can take it away from you.
The dance scene is far to big to just disappear.
